Title: Program Update installs unwanted things

I paid for an avast subscription, Now I get treated like this forcing a chrome install inside a program update, I DON'T USE IT DON'T WANT IT NO HEADS UP WERE GIVEN ABOUT THIS


NEEDS!!!!! A DIALOGUE WINDOW WITH A CHECKBOX!!!! install Chrome NOOOOO!!!!

Jeez Force it down someone else.

Yours is but a long line of complaints. Personally I have always seen the "opt-out" screen.
This was supposedly fixed with the 8.0.1489 release.
Try a clean install of v8.0.1489. You should either see the screen during the install or after the reboot.  :)
