Title: Windows Apps stopped working

I have been using an older version of avast for some time now. I got tired of getting the pop-up about a new version, so I downloaded version 4.1 Build 268. With this installed, I can no longer use System Restore, Help and Support and am unable to access Windows Update. The windows on all of these open, but the contents is blank. I am running XP Pro. I uninstalled the new version and went back to my old version. Everything works OK now. What's up with this?

Is this the Home or Pro version? Seems like a corrupted update of the Script Blocker module to me...

I am using the Home version. If the script blocker is corrupt, how can this be corrected?
