Title: Yahoo alerts from Avast
Post by: dgpretzel on July 02, 2013, 06:45:13 PM
I recently renewed my Avast Free license for another year.

Don't know if it is related, but now I am getting big red alerts, with the accompanying "You dodged a bullet" message every time I go to Yahoo.

Regards,

DG

I have never seen Avast show a pop up stating "You dodged a bullet". Can you show a screen shot of this please. Thanks.

That is only when you click on "details" after the alert pop up from Avast. Which I never do. The red box on the bottom right is all I ever need. Either way it sounds like he has a browser infection.

Is this happening only one one browser or all of them? Maybe Essexboy can help out.
