Should I make Internet Explorer have a full access for my Windows Firewall?

Firefox is brilliant but I love using my msn premium.  But still I'm worried cause maybe my ISP wanted to see if I'm online by using Internet Explorer but if I'm not allowing Internet Explorer to have a full access, they might think I'm not on and give the IP to someone else.

Your ISP would see that your online just fine without you using Internet Explorer. (ISP's track everything you do remember)

Also, a firewall isn't liley to block your ISP from seeing your IP address.
