Hello!
Someone asked, on this little french avast! webforum (http://www.framasoft.net/article157.html), which are the limitations on non-NT-based Windows systems (9x/Me). Here is my answer, according to the official website, but is that correct? I'm not so sure ICQ isn't supported.
- no Scheduled Boot-Time Scan;
- no Network Shield;
- short range of supported Instant Messaging programs (AOL Instant Messenger, MSN Messenger, Trillian and Yahoo! Messenger);
- short range of supported Peer-to-Peer programs (BearShare, Direct Connect, DC++, iMesh, Kazaa and Kazaa Lite);
- manual or semi-automatic [Mail Protection Wizard] configuration of the Internet Mail protection;
- manual configuration of the Web Shield [browser].
Best regards,
pierrotlefou

Hello
Could you tell me what the supported programs are? " The list of supported IM and P2P programs is extensive with more than 30 programs currently supported"
Thanks
