Title: avast detecting nvidia modified XG drivers as virus
Post by: sNip3r_3 on April 26, 2005, 03:39:28 AM
i have been using avast for long time, and seems that after recent update (not sure which one) that avast is detecting XG drivers (nvidia modified drivers) as a virus
W32 Trojan-Gen {UPX!}

it picked out the setup.exe file in 3 XG driver folders, but it did not find virus in other drivers (regular and modified)

i tried trend micro and RAV online scan and it did not find anything

so i think it is avast that is detecting it wrong
you can find the drivers at www.guru3d.com

i am using ...
- programĀ  4.6.652
- vpsĀ  0517-0
