I got a message from avast antivirus free  ??? as we offer special protection for payments over the internet.
Is it a real offer or a hook?

Do you mean this new upgrade pop-up.

If so, yes it is from avast, you don't have to do anything just let the toaster pop-up close. Unless of course you are interested in this additional functionality.
