Title: Avast! Error: The System cannot find the file specified?
Post by: MikeSab7 on August 03, 2013, 09:04:50 PM
I've recently ran both a normal, full scan and a boot-time scan. Each scan detected Win32:Adware-gen virus files. One file could not be placed in the chest. However, I can't delete any of the files. I receive the error message: “Error: The system cannot find the file specified (2).” Any assistance, anyone? I've cleared my Temp folder, also, which in the past has been suggested.

I'm not as technically-sufficient as many. I'd appreciate any assistance in clear, easy-to-follow instructions. God bless, be it His will and be safe. :D

Each scan detected Win32:Adware-gen virus files.

As it's detected as Adware, run AdwCleaner.
