Title: optimize.exe,NCasePackage.exe,EDowPack.exe
Post by: hiplaynesdrftr on April 30, 2005, 03:41:17 PM
I seem to have all 3 of these trojans/viruses.  AVG finds them and deletes them every time, but they continue to recycle themselves.  I have tried downloading "hijackthis", but I get an error message saying it is not a valid win32 file.  What now?  Also I run ad-aware religiously.  It won't delete some stuff until the next bootup and I'm worried I will delete necessary Registry files.

;D I realize this is not AVG.  I was simply giving info as to what I've done to rid myself of these pesky viruses.  Thanks anyway.

Are you considering moving to avast? Did you test it?  ;)

Your original post says nothing about getting rid of anything. All it talks about is being infected
and an inability to get rid of your problems and an inability to install HijackThis. :o ??? ???

AVG?!  My friend, use Avast! and try to remove these trojans again and see if there gone for good.  ;)
