Hi

Two questions please;

Does the free copy of Avast detect and repel rouge keylogger software?

Does it incorporate a firewall?

Any help would be apreciated.

YES it detect all types of malicious code
No firewall

You can send samples to avast  here: http://www.avast.com/contact-form.php

you can also use mail

send to virus@avast.com in a password protected zip file
mail subject:  undetected sample
zip password:  infected

or you can send files from avast chest
