Post by: YLAP on August 15, 2013, 10:31:10 AM
avast! Mobile Backup still does not compares contacts list stored  at my.avast.com and device. It had a lot of duplicates at my.avast, so I have deleted all contacts. avast! Mobile Backup does not recognizes there is not contacts left at my.avast and still shoes 100% complete (71 found, 71 done) and I can't update backup at portal  :o

Did you by any chance used beta version before? It should not happen in production version.

Yes, I have used BETA, but quite long time ago. I was not using BETA for some time, now I installed final version directly. Should I delete everything on my.avast and Google Drive, then uninstall Mobile Backup and re-install it again?

Edit: seems it worked, at least backup goes without duplicates and so on. I will try later to delete one contact from the list at my.avast.com and I will check if app will detect it.

Yes please, there may be some compatibility issues on backend. Please report if duplicities will occur again. Thank you .

Should the Mobile Backup app to compare contacts? I have deleted one contact at my.avast.com, but app still says 71 found, 71 done. I think it should find 70 on server...  ???

"Browse backup" shows 70 contacts are backed up, while "Backup Items" says 71 found, 71 done. So the app does not compare items it think was backed up with items on server. I think it should do this, because now there is no option to backup one missing contact on server, which for eg. was deleted by my mistake and is present on my device. The only thing to fix it is to delete everything in my.avast.com and Google Drive, clear Mobile Backup settings in Android's app manager and to go with fresh start. I do not think it is the way it should work  >:( After what it compares information with info on server and shows correct status - missing contact on server was detected.
