Title: Setting up the Mail Protection
Post by: Tit on May 07, 2005, 11:36:10 AM
I´ve read the HELP of my avast! 4.6 Home:

"The avast! package contains the Mail Protection Wizard that can be used for easy settings of mail protection. This program can be started via Start button on Windows taskbar, Start -> Programs -> avast! Antivirus ->  Mail Protection Wizard."

I can´t see this register there. Why? Where is it? There are only "avast! antivirus", "avast! website" and "Help".  ???

Welcome to the forum Tit!

If you have Windows XP, then the email protection is transparent - meaning you do not have to set anything up, you are automatically protected.

You can run ashPopWz.exe. Find it in your Alwil\Avast4 directory.

There is no need to change something in mail protection under Win XP. Just enjoy with reliable protection avast brings to you.  8)
