Hello,
I am getting consistently an Avast adware threat detected whenever I open a new Google Chrome window. This happens only in the Chrome browser. I've reiterated Avast virus scans, including a boot up scan, and also run MalwareBytes anti-malware and run Spybot from safer-networking.org.
The warning for infection JS-AddLyrics-Z appears to consistently try to infect chrome.exe and Avast will move it to the chest. Thought it might be a variation of the Win32 AddLyrics.
I want to get rid of the consistently annoying adware threat.
Any suggestions?
Regards,
Brett
