Hi, I installed AMS and Anti-theft rooted, but recently I noticed that Anti-theft reports Root Installation=no from the System State screen, and the options requiring root are greyed out. AMS itself is still rooted, and AT is still listed as a device administrator via its disguised name.
I think this may have happened after a software update. I noticed this problem some time after updating AMS and AT through Google Play. Unsure if I should have updated AT through Play.
How can I restore AT to rooted operation?
I have a Samsung SGH-i927R running stock Gingerbread ROM (rooted). I am using CWM superuser.
Thanks

Hello,
[quote Unsure if I should have updated AT through Play[/quote]
if you were able to install/update it through google play, you had a non-rooted installation.
my course of action would be:
- open AMS > Settings > AT removal wizard
- open AMS > Anti-Theft
- installation starts now
- select advanced installation and "rooted" in a later step.
this should give you a rooted installation (again).
