Title: Licence renewal start date
Post by: JCEngrossa on September 08, 2013, 10:47:24 AM
I have a question!
Shouldn't the start date be the first day we install the licence.lic and not the buying date???

Example; I have a licence till 30SET2013 and renew at 1SET2013, I only need that the new licence starts on 30SET2013 and not at 1SET2013.

(Sorry for my poor English)

Can someone answer please.

Yep! the license starts from the purchase date.

But in that case... I am reduced to buy a new licence or a renewal the day the old one ends.

This is not fair since the money transfer goes earlier to AVAST and we lose protections days for the same money!?  :'(

Thanks for your answers  :D

If you do the renewal through the interface of your installed version of avast the existing days left should be added to the new license.
