Hello everyone,
I'm currently using AVAST Premier suite and I'm experiencing an issue which I think can easily be resolved by changing a few settings. (Only I don't know which ones.)
My problem is as follows:
I use usenet to download movies and series. The program that I use for it is called SABNzb, it's a rather nifty program that runs smoothly.
Unfortunately I was only downloading at 14,7 MB/s (~118 Mbit/s) even though I have 25 MB/s (~200 Mbit/s) internet.
At first I thought it was a problem at the usenet provider's side, but as it turns out it's because of my anti-virus.
I figured this out by disabling all shields (right-clicking the tray icon, avast shield settings, disable all shields for 10 minutes).
As soon as I did this, the speed went from 14.7 MB/s to 24 MB/s (which is what I should be getting).
Has anyone got a solution for this problem?
I hope to hear from you.
Maximus.

Thank you for your reply.
I'm afraid this did not solve the problem. Any other ideas?
