Title: Avast and the lastest version of sandboxie.
Post by: kenny556 on October 17, 2013, 05:10:56 PM
Avast and the new version of sandboxie does not play well with harden mode on aggressive. It blocks it's every attempt to start. It didn't do this on the other version of sandboxie. I hope avast sends out and update to fix this.

Yes, i'v tried many times and have even restarted my computer. There is a serious conflict between the two. I am running windows 7 64bit.

Since the Hardened Mode is off by default, why not try knocking it back to Moderate rather than aggressive.

Set something up to be aggressive and it is going to be, well very aggressive, though the add to exclusions should resolve that unless it relates to other sandboxie fires, etc.

Have you tried manually adding the sandboxie executable file to the Hardened Mode and file shield exclusions ?
