Title: No update notifications if set to "ask when an update is available" ...

Having updated from inside 8.0.1497 and not having made major changes to the settings (set to "immediate notification, but no automatic install as soon as an update is available), updates are no longer presented!

Avast tells that "system is secured and updated" – but virus definitions are not the latest ones (what I can see on a different PC)!!

No – it tells "connection not established" ...

Nope – no change; and it does not make any difference whether "enable streaming updates" is enabled or not!
