Title: Where's the virus definition update popup in Avast 2014?

First off, I can't stand the new interface, the version 8 interface was better hands down IMO. Secondly, my program is updating the virus defs but I never see a green popup indicating that. All I get is a white popup with an ad, which by the way I can't limit the amount of seconds I see that garbage. I have the info and update popups set to 10 seconds in the control panel it has no effect on the duration of the white popup ad. I assumed the white popup would fall under "info". I searched the forums for people having the virus defs popup issue, I found 2 posts on it...there may be more I don't know. So far every machine I have installed version 9 on has had the same issue.


I've seen it happen on my Windows 7  x64 and Windows 8 x64 systems.
