Title: Problems With Computer: READ THIS
Post by: UserA789 on October 25, 2013, 06:29:30 PM
Among all the issues, form disabled Avast NDIS Filter Miniport Driver to Chrome working in all but one profile, to now not being able to detect a new network and a "HomeGroup" Icon being added to my desktop... I DONT do Private Network or Sharing on this network.  Nor do any of my settings suggest I have.

My machine is about toast.  So once again my only resort is scrub--- re-install.  Whether there was a FP on the rest of GMail; sure feels like I got exploited right about then.  The link I posted was WARNING ID'd due to subscription; not maleware.

...Im just sharing my crashing, as it relates.

Actually, I traced it down to one problem.

While the problem was caused by in-attention to detail by the end user (ME); it should be something looked at and remedied by the Avast crew... IMO.

Laugh at me so I don't just be angry; here's the details:
