8) I do not trust Avast. I think and suspect it is US Government compromised.
It appears Avast spies on all your activities on your computer, and send the information some where.

i Guess he has seen the stream/cloud in/out Connection ....that almost all AV these days have (those who dont are working on it) so i Guess that is where the conspiracy theories comes from? ;)

Actually I think the government are just stooges for the aliens from Alpha Centuri. I caught one hacking into my computer yesterday

I think it is just the other way round.
It is not avast, it is rather a question of government supervision
for whatever reason they have/give.
So you say for instance that you assume that avast! has some entry point for this,
and you guess that DrWeb's for instance has not.
Where do you think any tracking or surveillance would be performed if going on.
Guess three times.
Inside your browser of course.
So do not venture out to the Interwebs - do not connect!
We cannot turn black the clock on total surveillance,
as we allowed that station to be passed a long time ago.
Only do not blame avast!

Avast has more than 20 Million users World wide, If I am NSA I would be salivating at the prospect of gathering as much information, from those computers.
Avast gathers a lot of information on users, HOW DO YOU KNOW IF THEY HONOURING their terms of use? You don't !!
And if they are giving info to NSA or allows NSA a back door to peoples computers, DO YOU THINK THEY WILL ADMIT IT?

I'm SURE no one in Russia would want to know ANYTHING about the U.S. Nope. Nothing of interest to them at all.
Did you know that Avast is based in PRAGUE? Kind of a long way from the U.S. I wonder how the NSA would pull the data from their servers, in PRAGUE. Did I mention they are located in PRAGUE? Which is like, in Europe? Prague.
Have fun with Kaspersky. Good AV but a little hoggy on the resources, but still a good choice.

LMAO. Because Czech has so much in common with the US... Besides, like anyone forces you to use avast!. If you don't trust it, then don't use it. You're using Windows which is an US product and is known that MS is working with their security agencies and you're worried about a Czech product that has never ever been tied to any such activity? Am i the only one seeing this situation as extremely funny one?

It is well known that all versions of windows have a back door, known and given to the NSA by Microsoft. But what you do not know is that using a browser like firefox they cannot access the back door.
Also there are patches given out by crytome that seals the hole.
Yet people continues to use windows.
All I am trying to say is, do not trust AVAST 100%.

JOESIXPACK the NSA would have absolutely no need to gather information from avast as that can get all there information required via your ISP, they've had deals to collect data from major internet providers here in Australia for the last ten years and it's only now people are complaining ::)
Quite frankly it's done to keep our world a safer place and if your not doing anything wrong on the net then you have nothing to worry about :)

What you do NOT do is go and post similar, totally unsubstantiated claim on a public forum. Normally, that results in civil legal liability at least.
