Title: Simple management connector

Hello.

I was installing the new Avast 2014 yesterday and found this tool to be very puzzling.
Either I install it or not I can't found any difference on Avast 2014 and can't found anything related to it nor what does this Tool do.
Anyone here have a clue about what are the functions of this tool?
I underlined it on the attached print screen.
