Hey for all!
I cant make the avast rescue usb even after clean install. Its just starting to make it and then its just ends and no files in the usb. I tryed several times to reinstall and "clean" install avast internet security, but nothing helps.
WHY?

Hello, can you please attach EventLog.log which located in C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log\ (windows 7) or C:\Documets and settings\All users\Application Data\ (windows xp)?
Are you able to save ISO image into the folder?

Can you please provide some more information: which language do you use in avast and in your OS? Which version of avast do you use?

I am using Estonian language in OS Win 8 and in Avast too. Right now I tryed to use English language in Avast but still not working even rescue ISO file making.

Let's try one trick :)
Please try to save ISO file to destination path that doesn't contain special characters - simply use for example c:\test or something like that.

Jep, I already tryed to save the ISO only to D:\ drive directly, but nope.

I tryed in C:\test folder and ISO file name was "test", with out quitos, but the folder stayes empty. Its just end the making the ISO file.

Please try to download Windows ADK (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30652) and install only two parts of it:
Deployment Tools
and
Windows Preinstallation Environment (Wndows PE)

Its created the ISO image in test folder, but I tryed to make directly the rescue usb, but still nope. It makes the RESCUE DISK name for USB, but its empty.

Unfortunately I have no ideas how to solve this problem, anyway we did a small progress: you are able to save ISO file in folder now :)

Now I can do the ISO and write the ISO to USB and boot from it!
