I'm sure you can imagine what a nightmare this is. I can sometimes delete one or two emails before my computer totally stops responding. I use Firefox and this problem began soon after they "upgraded" their email system. Can you help? I'm at 1493 emails and climbing!

you mean Thunderbird mail client?
attach (not copy and paste) OTL diagnostic log. http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0
then a log expert will have a look when they are online later today.....

Here is the scan you asked for.

your Malwarebytes log say no action taken .... after scan you need to make sure what is detected is marked for removal and click remove selected
then run and attach OTL diagnostic log.....

I only saw 2 items
Files Detected: 2
C:\Users\Owner\Downloads\EmailNotifierSetup.exe (PUP.Optional.Inbox) -> No action taken.
C:\Users\Owner\Downloads\Setup(5).exe (PUP.Optional.Conduit.A) -> No action taken.
How do I delete them? Sorry to be so thick

You need to rerun the scan then "show results".. make sure the infections are ticked and then click "remove selected."
