Hello, I am currently running Windows 7 Home Premium and i am consider trying out Linux on my system instead.
there are various reasons im considering trying Linux but first, I know there aren't any or very little virus's available for linux distro's and that they won't work without root privileges and such but i would like to know if its possible to download AVAST 2014 internet security to Linux, I just want to know cause i have purchased a licensed for AVAST 2014 IS and i would like to use it until it expires.
All help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

There is Linux version of avast which is very old now.
And you dont need a antivirus on linux, there are almost no viruses for linux.
So use your license until it expires and then you can switch to linux.
