Hi,
Ever since AOL (a-o-hell?) updated itself I keep getting this pop-up:
http://eu2.projectsunblock.com
I have entered it in the AOL block list but it makes no difference - the sunblock page keeps on reappearing :-( I ran AdwCleaner and am now running MBAM - scan was negative - no infected items.
Does anyone know what this projectsunblock thing is please - malware or worse?
Thanks,
AV

Okay, thanks - um, I added it to my AOL blocked pop-up list and it was immediately replaced by another pop-up from Waitrose (they retail food basically). It looks to me as if this crud is care of the new version AOL?
Is there a an Internet Provider anywhere who just provides the Internet and doesn't junk you with adverts and adware please? :(
Thanks.

I don't know where you live but Comcast is a very good ISP. I don't get any junk or advertisements. The internet by itself isn't all that expensive. I have Comcast as my ISP, phone and TV.

Isn't AOL just an Email and Browser provider in the UK :-\ if so then change both an be done with them, try using Outlook.com or Gmail.

Many thanks to all - excellent advice & suggestions! ;)
Installed adblocker on IE and Chrome but the PSB appeared on AOL (Browser?) so I wondered if there was a way to disable the AOL browser, couldn't see anything on google? Pretty sure there's no adblock for AOL.
When you enter PSB.com in the AOL pop-up blocker all that happens is that the PSB page pops up blank. Just now PSB is absent but it has a habit of creeping in. The only short-term thing you can do is reduce it and drag it to the edge of the screen.
Am in south London (UK). Will investigate those other ISPs with thanks,

Do you need to use the AOL browser ? I am suspicious if ISP's say you must use our browser
