Title: Avast free have automatic program updates been turned off ?

the reason i ask , is Avast has not automatically updated the program ( for a long time now)  even tho i have this selected, i have to go to settings, updates and see if there is one available, then click update myself, has this been taken of the free version ?

You can set this up under Settings>Update

Under the Program update section of that click settings.

hi, as per my first post. i already have that option selected , it just never seems to auto update anymore

latest Version was released 6 days ago   http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=139606.0

program updates are spread over weeks to ease server load

you can always do it manually if you want it now.....

Is this issue solved for you?
Did you do something besides waiting?

I'm having the same issue for more than a year now with different versions of avast! Free Antivirus on different computers...
