I think the title explains itself, however, why is it stuck on this?
-
The updates are given out over time.
Otherwise the servers would crash. Or maybe there are server problems.
But if your Stream Updates are functioning there is no need to worry.
-
Probably because the servers for v2014 is on a different release cycle than any previous version.
With the "continuous streaming updates" the need for regular vps updates is greatly diminished.
The "CSU" are released about every 3 1/2 to 4 minutes. Don't worry as long as you have CSU enabled
you have the latest protection. To be perfectly honest I'm not worried or concerned at all.
If you want GUI>Settings>Update :)

Several similar topics you could have viewed relating to this, this is just one of them and one of the posts.

You should be getting the streaming updates in the background.

Hi,
But there is a newer vps version out.
I am also stuck on vps 131118-1. I have gone to the Avast virus update history page (support/virus monitor/virus update history) and noticed that there is a newer VPS version available (131119-0) released on Nov 19 but I cannot seem to get my program to update to this new version. I then went to support/download/software updates and manually downloaded from there the latest VPS for version 2014. I thought it would update to 131119-0 but it did not. So I am still stuck on 131118-1.
I do have streaming enabled and it is showing that it did get updates, but I don't understand why it still has not updated to the newest vps.
Does anyone here have 131119-0?
-
Just got the update.
Right click on your Avast icon in system tray and click update.
-
I am now on 131120-0 :)
-
Me too.
Virus update history is lagging behind.
-
YES, got it! 131120-0.
Wish it would have come in before I got the anxiety attack. ;D
-
if there is some problem with updates the program will give a error message
if it dont... dont worry, the program handles this automatically
