Title: Annoying pop up
Post by: Vapor on November 25, 2013, 01:46:59 AM
Hello,

This pop up showing up every day in taskbar "Add Secureline VPN to remain anonymous" >:(  , it's very annoying especially when I'm not going to ever use this service and I'm sure if i really want it i will find it myself.
Can this be turned off or any way not having this keep showing up?

Thank you

Popups don't show up in the taskbar.
Ever thought about checking the settings?

This is an on-going issue. It should be showing a vps update.
The pop-up happens whenever there is a definition (vps) update.  :)

It's a bug... it was fixed a while ago and it's back. It's actually a VPS update notification which is occurring but showing the wrong notification.

Thank you for reply, yes it showing up on daily bases and if this should show as VPS update notification then it  should show up to people who actually have this feature installed.
Makes you wonder if that is a bug or just easy way of promotion :-X
Hopefully this will get sort it out soon enough.
Thanks

I get that too whenever a new VPS update gets applied both automatically and after laptop startup. I hope this will get fixed permanently and never come back again! Please fix this.

I am using Avast Free 2014.9.0.2008 VPS 131124-1
