If your system clock is correct, did you register the free antivirus. It has to be registered within 30 days for the one year to apply

I also have a re-registration problem.
I have just upgraded avast free version 8 to V 9.0.2008. it said my account is disconnected.
I have deleted the email account that I used to register avast free. Can I register again with a different email account? If yes, how to do it.
Another problem in registering from the ‘Mydevices’ page is inaccessible. I am blind and both JAWS 10 (full feature) and JAWS13, 15 (demo) screenreaders could not read anything on the page. So I cannot fill in the edit fields.
The ’HELP page’ are unreadable as well. All I hear are ‘button’ repeatedly but no labeled button to indicate what it is for.
So how can I register?
My computer is XP 32bit.
thanks

yes @emel we see your post...no need to post it twice, so deleting one

hi Pondus,
after restarting my browser, i clicked on my reply to this thread and an 'ERROR' message appeared. i thought my posting was not successful and reposted.
Anyway, can I use a different email account from the one i used to register avast free v8 from which i upgraded to v9?

Yes. However, if you connected other PCs to your Avast account, they wouldn't show up.

thanks, each PC uses a different email.

After downloading the latest FREE version I have completely uninstalled and removed Avast from my computer.
(1) The scheduler option disappeared.
(2) The software updater indicated my Adobe Flash ActiveX was out of date but a check at the Adobe site indicated I have the latest version.
(3) Even though I have Add Blocker set in my Firefox WEB Browser I kept getting adds to switch to Google Chrome. Firefox is set as my default browser.
(4) I was not automatically notified that Avast had a new version available. Automatic notification had always been checked.
(5) When I initially signed up for Avast I used hotmail.com as the email, seeing as how outlook.com has now taken over I tried to switch, Avast would not allow me to do so.
Always,
Wildman

Hi Wildman,
Thanks i am checking again. Thanks Parulk30

I will keep checking from time to time, but until they get these fixed I shall be using another Virus protection program.

I indeed have checked again and with the exception of the software updater still telling me the Adobe Flash is out of date when it is not and still having to indicate hotmail.com everything else appears to be back to normal. I really do like Avast so once again I am back to using it.
Thanks,
Wildman
