Title: Avast V8 to V9; Backup Settings Restore Work ?

I'm looking to try one of my non-critical PCs from 8.0.1497 to V9.....W7 64bit based.
I may do a GUI update for do a full uninstall and clean install.
If I do the clean install and previously save/backup my xxxxxxx.avastconfig file can I "restore" in V9 ?
Something tells me that this config file would not be compatible from V8 to V9 but wanted to check.

Yes, the config file can be imported from the older version.
