Title: Browser protection: install or not?

as above:
advise me to install it, or disable it? i've noticed a certain slowness in opening web pages,afret installing AIS.

I've chosen not to use it. The anti-tracking protection can be acquired elsewhere (https://www.abine.com/index.php) as a standalone plugin and the reputation services don't interest me. It's very important, however, that you have the Avast web shield activated.

I choose not to use the AOS add-on,  it gives me one or two problems but there are many who use it without trouble,  I guess it is down to individual set-ups.  I use Bitdefender TraffiLight,  maybe not quite as good but causes no problems.

Whether you choose to use AOS or not,  remember you are always well protected by the Avast! Web and File shields.  :)
