I have updated my flash player to version 12 and there is a red flash player icon in the add or remove programs in the control panel(screen shot attached). Flash worked well in Firefox(trying with Facebook). I rebooted my pc and then the flash icon in add or remove programs in the control panel turned to a white blank symbol(screen shot attached). Opened Firefox and loaded Facebook...but Firefox freezes and as it is not responding I have to forcefully end Firefox process. This happens with every versions of flash player and therefore I'm unable to use Firefox to view a lot of web pages. Please help me.... :-[

Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't helped me.. :-\
1. Have you tried another browser to see if that helps ???
2. Have you checked your settings in FF to make sure nothing is blocking Flash ???
