Title: Eicar Test File HTTPS detection?

I tried testing Avast web shield against the Eicar test file; it picks up the regular HTTP url but not the HTTPS url.  Is that normal?  Well actually, it picked up the HTTPS url in IE, but not Firefox.  Thanks.

Https is a secure connection ..... it would not be secure if your AV could scan it   http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_Secure
