Title: Starting a scan within another program

For Instance, How can I setup Trillian, or BitSpirit or WinRAR to scan using Avast?

When using WinRAR you can setup what Antivirus you have to clicking the scan button will scan inside the archive you have open to ensure nothing is a virus.  When I try to say to use either of the scanner .exe files i get an Avast error message saying bad parameter. 

With Norton, for example, you could just tell whatever program to use nav32.exe and it will automatically scan the file for you without any parameters needed.  Nice and easy. 

Is there anyway to do this with Avast?

Did you try AshQuick?  :)

C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashQuick.exe
