Title: can not send out my Outlook Express email
Post by: mendownunder on June 23, 2005, 12:46:34 PM
I wrote this before, included the os (Win XP service pact 2), my processor Mobile Centrino) and everything else. I need someone to respond from Avast! I am an on-line instructor. This sucks! Please help me fix this ASAP. My class begins again in two weeks. mr

It would appear that whatever you wrote before is lost in the internet black hole as this is recorded as your first post.

What error messages are you getting when you can't send email?
Can you receive email?
Does your SMTP server require authentication and have you ticked the box (in OE)?

Have you got a firewall? if so what?
Have you allowed ashMailSv.exe internet access?
