A few months back i committed the sin of installing avast mobile security. Ever since then everytime I restart my tab i get an sms notification. I thought uninstalling would help but no. If avast did want to incorporate the possibility that someone other than the user might select the uninstall option to disable the anti theft option couldn't they have enough sense to atleast allow an option to disable the notification with a pin or secondary password.
I have spent hours trying to figure a way to stop this torment. The answers on this site are as random as they can be.
If anyone here has been successful at doing so kindly help me.
PS: tab- samsung p3100 using the samsung provided custom ROM.
