Title: Log file
Post by: danny9 on June 25, 2005, 02:34:19 PM
I started useing Avast recently and am currently trialing the Pro version.
The question I have is about the log file.
I noticed that when an update is received it sometimes logs it in the notice section. But not all the time.
I checked all the settings but can't find anything about having things logged.
Am I missing something here?
Also in the logging settings page there is a slide bar. Where is the best place to set this too?
Thanks for any help.

Are you sure the update is not logged all the time?
Were all the updates performed automatically, or did you perform some of them manually?

Yes there were a couple of times I did it manually when nothing showed on the log file. Todays update showed. The previous one showing was from 6/22.
I take it from your question that manual updates only show up in the interface and not the logs. Maybe I jumped the gun a little.
I do have the push updates activated now also.
Thanks for your response and I definitely like this program.
