I just installed Windows 8.1 and a problem I'm having is that it freezes the Tiles and causes them to be unresponsive. I have read many people experiencing this problem, will there be a fix? I know it's avast because when I close the program everything works fine and as normal. A temporary fix I use is that I have booted to desktop and that's sorted it for now. I just wanna know if anyone else has this problem on here and what have you done to sort it? Will this be fixed though in a future version of avast, because I really do love avast haha :D Best anti-virus program ever. I am aslo using avast! 2014 Free.
Thanks.

No freezes here on 8.1 with avast, what actual release number do you have ? 2014.9.0.2013 is the current.
If the upgrade to 8.1 was done with avast already installed it may have gotten corrupted so you can try a repair via Programs and Features ( click to uninstall avast then choose repair on the popup screen ) if the repair fails then try a clean install of your avast.
