Post by: Mimatete on February 28, 2014, 05:56:02 PM
Hi,
since I changed my mailbox on SSL, I get this warning:
the target principle assumption is wrong
from
AVAST! Mail Scanner Root
generatet by avast! antivirus for SSL Scanning

what should I do?

I have until now:
1.  exported Mail-certificate => *.cer

I have outlook 207, this format can not be imported

but here there is nothing about outlook

I have *.cer, but avast expected *.der

The solution is:

modify the account data of pop.gmx.de / mail.gmx.de to pop.gmx.net / mail.gmx.net

because the certificate is issued for xxx.gmx.net
