hi

when will we see a great great spam killer on avast?
maybe only for the pro version???

Outlook 2003 actually has a pretty good one.  even surprised me.

I think webattack is one of Technical's favorite sites too if I remember right.

I use Mailwasher PRO, the freeware version is on the site.  It works good with the SpamAssassin filter my ISP uses.  However if my ISP wasn't using SA I would seriously consider another program that does, or at least uses some kind of Baysien (sp?) type logic.

Spampal is the best.  In my opinion only.  It's free.  Has an active message board for support too.

You're right Jarron. Thanks for the quote. Anyway, www.downloads.com has a lot of possibilities too. You can choose the OS and the license price for a spam killer application. I use the 'old' version of MailWasher (the new one, freeware, just allow one pop account to be checked and I have more than this...). Thanks culpeper for the suggestion.  ;)

and i will do a plugin antivirus for avast/kaspersky

Thanks mantra! Good idea if it works... Btw, how do you think to "make" this plugin: will it works with avast! or with you POP3 client
I'll give a try on Spamihilator.
Thanks mat5 for the suggestion too. Although, SPAMfighter - by now - is only for Outlook (Outlook Express will coming soon)  ;)

Thanks mantra. I've downloaded the program but I don´t know how to make a plug-in.  :'( You said you will do it... could you explain how to make one or could you send me this plugin by e-mail?  ;)

mantra, it´s not necessary to make a plugin. To configure Spamihilator and avast! to be used in the same computer, please, see this related forum (http://www.avast.com/forum/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=1622).  ;D
