Title: Current Avast 4.8 definition

I just want to confirm if the current definition of avast 4.8 is 14140-4. I personally don't believe so since it says its from April 5th. Oddly though I just downloaded two files. :o

I have 140405-4 dated 6 Apr '14. That's after a manual update. Your number looks to be a digit short.

Whoops. Just realised you're running an old version. Make that a VERY old version.

Just seemed to be a glitch for the next day it updated fine.
