Thank you to the person who helped me with my installation and how to use the Licence.avastlic attachment. I now have a new problem. When I click on the scan button, I do not get the drop down menu with the various scan options. I only get "Boot Scan", not full scan or any other options. Please advise.

Reboot. If that fails try a repair...
Control Panel>Uninstall a Program>double click "avast">click "repair">reboot
