Title: Comodo Dragon and Script Scanning
Post by: hake on May 01, 2014, 03:17:43 PM
I use Comodo Dragon in preference to Google Chrome.  I have found that if I copy dragon.exe to chrome.exe and run that instead within the same program folder, that both Agnitum Outpost (Application Guard) and Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit recognise Dragon in its renamed form as if it were Google Chrome.

Should I realistically entertain hopes that Web Shield similarly recognises chrome.exe and applies script scanning?

I don't know if the web shield even cares what the file name is as the web shield monitors http traffic from all applications, not just 'Scan traffic from well-known browser processes.'
