Title: How Do I Get Rid Of Trojan Horse FakeAlert.AET From My Macbook?
Post by: TygerMoon on May 08, 2014, 01:34:54 AM
I just bought a new Macbook and transferred all my files from my old Macbook to the new one. A scan with another antivirus program (because Avast isn't supported on the new Macbook) indicated an infection with Trojan Horse FakeAlert.AET. So I connected the backup usb drive and scanned it and found the old Macbook is infected with this trojan. But Avast doesn't even see it! How do I remove it when Avast doesn't see it? Please help! Thank you.
