Title: Trying to get rid of my avast premium but hampered by forgotten password
Post by: Gulfvet on May 08, 2014, 02:39:05 AM
Avast told me I need to update it.  I tried but it told me I need a password to do that.  Really?  You need a password to tell the software it can do a needed update?  Anyway, I tried GuruAid, which was not only useless, they tried to start charging me.  AND they did not reset my password, which was the entire reason for my call.  So, what I'm saying is that all I need is a way to reset my lousy password so I can quit messing around with Avast and go to Kaspersky.  Anybody have a fix for me?
