Title: Migration from LastPass
Post by: DonGateley on May 23, 2014, 09:02:07 PM
With LastPass it is possible to get a copy of all your data as a CSV text file.  Is it possible to import that into EasyPass?

Yes, it is rather pain free.

On LastPass you can do an export (which uncomfortingly shows all of your passwords in plain text) from the LP menu, copy and paste that into a text doc and save it as .csv. EasyPass can then import that perfectly thoguh Options > Import > LastPass CSV File

Then delete/shred the CSV, don't want that sitting around.

Don't find this in the new Avast Passwords. Was it taken down? Thought Password is the new EasyPass ...

Best regards,

Found another way until this gets sorted out:

1. LastPass in Firefox: Tools > Export > Firefox (and you have all passwords temporarily saved in the browser)
2. Avast: Settings > Import from Browser
3. optional: if you wish delete them from Firefox
