Title: AVAST firewall

I'm in a bit of a quandary. I recently updated AVAST from the free version to the Internet Security version as i wanted a good firewall (am running Windows XP). I had been told and also read somewhere that you don't want to have two firewalls running at the same time (can cause problems) and so i disabled the Windows firewall after upgrading AVAST. However, subsequent to that, i was talking to the AVAST tech support and was told that i should run them both at the same time. This makes no sense! What does the community recommend?

With XP it makes no difference as Avast (to the best of my knowledge) utilises some of the windows firewall functions
