Title: Why Avast FileShield Not Detect Eicar Text File ?

Hi Avast All Team and Everyone
  Today I Test Eicar Test This Code X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*
I Copy and Paste to Text Program and Save as .txt But Avast is Not Warning , Detect and Remove or Qurantine eicar.txt ??

 But Symantec Endpoint Protection Detect Now After Save As txt , BitDefender Detect Now After Save As txt , TrendMicro Detect Now After Save As txt and FortiClient 5.2.0 Detect Eicar After Open Eicar Test.txt

 Why Avast 9 is Not Detect Eicar Test Virus of Text File Because I Can Save to txt and click select file it and I Can Open eicar.txt ??
I Setting Avast To High and scan when writing all file and scan when reading all file Avast is Not Detect Eicar Virus !!

  How do I Do ? I Think so Avast Detect All Threat and All Type Eicar Test Virus.

TXT files are on the default list of File System Shield exclusions - that's why they are not scanned.
You can remove the exclusion, but there is no point in scanning TXT files - you won't get infected by opening a text file, so it will only slow down your computer.
