I can't connect to the internet to get grime fighter to work. I have both wifi
And Ethernet. My cable is plugged in and modem is running. How do I get it to work

We have had a server error since Saturday that may be the cause of this. Could I please ask you to wait 1 day and then try again?
If it still doesn't work then we will of course refund your money.

I have escalated your support ticket in our refund team and they will handle it immediately.
The issue we face is that sometimes (definitely not all the time) GrimeFighter cannot recognize the network card and/or usb adapter used to connect to the internet. We have no way, yet, of knowing that before you try to run GrimeFighter for the first time.
We are working on blacklisting know network cards that we cannot support so other users in the future do not have a similar experience as you.
I know this doesn't help with your situation, but I just wanted to give a little info on why it is happening.
As I said, I have escalated your support ticket so your refund should be processed asap.

I have the same problem. Computer gets sedated, but then I get message of not able to connect. If it has to do with my internet adapter I'd like a refund... Could you inform me on what kind of problem it could be?

How do I get refund on this product? I've had this same issue and have submitted a ticket 3 weeks ago requesting refund. Ticket ID: VNJ-373-43259 with no response and webpage doesn't load and support phone number doesn't allow billing/refund questions. Support only. UGH!

Whatever - when the program shuts down under 'sedation' - ALL gets shutdown ??
BUT - I got more 'window' Info on my 3rd attempt ........
EXCEPT - I had to Reboot 2 x to get action outa my XP Start Up --------
I think WE ALL, should have been warned of different behavioral attitudes of Internet Connections or, WHATEVER would happen!!

Same problem with me too. My problem pretty sure due to Hardware problem.
Replaced a 1TB HDD with a 500GB SSD and encountered a network connect failure on the reboot while performing the task. Replaced the SSD back to the HDD, exact same Windows 7 64 install, (20GB more for the HDD), and retried with no problems with the connection and completion of the task. Replaced the HDD back to the SSD and again failure, so luckily had created a backup Image of the OS of the successful HDD install with the job been completed.
Now unfortunately I can't do that each time I want to run the task. Any ideas for getting it to work for the SSD?

I am having issues with grime fighter connecting to the internet when I reboot. My internet works fine after my pc starts up but it won't connect until it completely starts up, not allowing grime fighter to do it's thing. I am using windows 7 ultimate 64bit.

I submitted mine on December 22 2014 at 12:28pm. They said they'd reply within 24 hours but they haven't. I'll just assume it's because it's close to Christmas.

Yes, folks posting ticket numbers have usually waited for quite some time already.
As you only submitted your ticket 2 days ago please give the process time to complete.
Response can take up to 2 weeks, If you have not heard/had response after that time (taking Holiday shut down into account) then post back here. :)

David393, not sure if I completely understand your problem. However, there are some issues with wifi and GrimeFighter working together. It might be your case and a refund would be necessary unfortunately.

I submitted a ticket on January 8 (HSR-693-17834) and was told I should receive a reply within 24 hours. So far, nothing.
If this is not going to work, I want a refund.

Being you submitted a ticket, patience is required now. :)
Process can take a couple of weeks (Buisness days), don't expect immediate resolution.
Do not submit another ticket or amend the existing one as this then puts it at the back again and the process takes longer for everyone.

It's been 6 days now and no reply. Wanting refund for this as it will not connect to the internet on my computer. I've seen others posting their support ticket for the same exact issue in here after waiting as well and it seemed to work for them.

Submitted on January 27 2015. It's been over 2 weeks now without a response. Getting irritated with the lack of customer service. Even a "Sorry but we are really backed up now" response would suffice. Not a very good way to go about pleasing your customers.

After a dormant computer can not communicate with the Internet.
For several days I write about this to the company Avast, but no one written off.

I asked our refund team to expedite you requests. It should take a day or so to get processed on our side and then maybe another 2 days by your bank but please be sure this being handled.

Hey guys. I'm having the same problem with the Grimefighter not connecting to the internet. Have refreshed several times and tried to wait it out but it will stay on the "Unable to connect to the internet" page until I reboot it back to windows. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium for an OS. Any answers yet or tricks that I haven't tried? I used Grimefighter on my XP laptop and it worked great with no issues. Additionally I'm not running the free version. I bought into the upgraded version and have had it for the last two years so far with no problems until now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I bought a licence on one of my PCs and it worked great.
I bought a licence on my other PC and it hangs up on the "sedating your PC" screen for about 20 minutes before finally telling me there was an error "sedating" because it can't connect to my network.
the PC that it works on connects via WiFi with a WG111v3 2.0 USB wireless adapter.
I've tried the other PC via that same adapter and plugged directly to my router. Neither approach works.
like the rest of you, I've submitted a ticket. Ticket ID: #OAL-407-65042
I hope that the issue can be resolved because I am pleased with the results on the machine that works. However, if there is no hope for the other machine, I'd like to know ASAP and get my refund in like manner.

I bought and ran Grime Fighter today. Could not connect to LAN after I ran Grime Fighter. I have since uninstalled and reinstalled my network adapter device driver, and tried to use the windows to diagnose and fix the problem.
I now see after reading all the messages that there is an issue with the software.
Disappointing.

Please let me apologize for this frustrating experience. It would greatly help if you could open a support ticket and include your GrimeFighter log with the ticket.

The log is located in C: Windows, jumpshot.com folder. The file is grimefighter.txt
This will help us understand what the issue might be and at least provide clearer information on next steps (refund, workaround, etc..)

Request a Refund. Process will take at least 5 business days.
Only submit 'once' and any further alteration to the original ticket will result in a further delay of processing

I have the same issue with grime Fighter not connecting to the internet. I run W7. Your direction to open a ticket only directs me to having my confirmation number resent.

I purchased the license yesterday and have the same problem: I tried for several times yesterday night and today. I receive message that
"Iceweasel can't establish a connection to the server at grimefighter."
My network connection is perfect and working fast to all my devices (PC, laptop, ipad, mobile)
My OS is Windows XP, SP2 and my order number is: 10255251962
If you can't fix it in timely manner, then consider a refund please?
